Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dining Room Manager to lead our dining services team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure outstanding customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and elevate the dining experience for our residents and guests. Responsibilities Supervise all aspects of dining room operations, including food presentation, service flow, and cleanliness Train and develop staff in food preparation, customer service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols Manage inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste Oversee cash handling procedures and accurate financial transactions during shifts Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality standards are met Lead staff scheduling, shift management, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment Implement training programs focused on hospitality management, food handling, and culinary best practices Experience Proven management experience within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment, preferably with fine dining or casual dining background Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team development Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and kitchen management Background in hospitality management or food service management with a focus on customer satisfaction Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food production planning within the food industry Demonstrated leadership in supervising restaurant operations, including shift management and catering or banquet experience is highly desirable
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
