Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant and lead the charge in delivering exceptional dining experiences! Duties Assist the restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and operational excellence Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety Manage food preparation processes, including overseeing cooking, food handling, and food production to ensure consistency and compliance with safety regulations Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels through accurate stock monitoring, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste Train new staff members on food safety procedures, customer service protocols, and operational standards to promote a knowledgeable team Support budgeting efforts by analyzing profit and loss reports, managing costs, and maximizing restaurant profitability Oversee shift management duties including scheduling, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring adherence to health regulations Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams, supervising staff, and conducting interviews for new hires Expertise in food safety management practices and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Strong organizational skills in inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis Excellent communication abilities for managerial tasks including training & development, team leadership, and managerial communication Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a high level of customer service excellence Experience in casual dining or fine dining settings with exposure to banquet or catering operations is a plus Basic math skills for order calculations, inventory management, and financial reporting Passionate about hospitality with a focus on creating welcoming environments that promote teamwork and guest satisfaction Join us to lead with energy, inspire your team, and create memorable dining experiences!
