Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our Wingstop stores. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in driving business growth, managing budgets, and fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and excellence in service Supervise and train staff on food preparation, POS systems , cash handling, and customer service protocols Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and sanitation standards Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and ensure proper coverage during all operating hours Monitor food production processes including cooking, food handling, and presentation to meet quality standards Lead staff training & development initiatives to enhance team performance and hospitality standards Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels Assist with budgeting, cost control, and inventory management to optimize profitability Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety procedures across all restaurant operations Support marketing efforts and community engagement to increase brand visibility

Key Competencies:

Proven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety practices Experience with POS systems; cash handling expertise required Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising teams and conducting staff training & development Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and operational procedures effectively Previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience preferred; hospitality management background is a plus Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary experience, food handling, and catering is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed Qualifications for the job:

• 3+ years of progressive restaurant management experience, including at least 1 year as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant Manager in a high-volume QSR or fast-casual environment
• Experience with labor management, food cost, inventory, scheduling, and team development
• Proven ability to lead shifts, coach team members, and support General Manager-level operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation
