Restaurant Manager — Supino Pizzeria | New Center Supino Pizzeria — New Center, Detroit, MI $45,000-$60,000 per year | Full-time Supino Pizzeria is looking for a hospitality professional with some leadership experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You may currently be a Team Lead, Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or another experienced restaurant professional who has taken on leadership responsibilities and wants to continue developing those skills. We're looking for someone who is interested in growing into a stronger leader and, over time, potentially working toward an Assistant General Manager or General Manager role. You don't need to have every answer today. What matters most is that you have a strong foundation, a genuine interest in leadership, and the desire to keep learning and growing. We're looking for someone who is confident enough to lead, humble enough to learn, and open to constructive feedback. Someone who can take feedback, apply it, and use it to become a better leader and help build a stronger team. Integrity is essential to this role. We're looking for someone who is honest, trustworthy, accountable, and takes pride in doing the right thing—even when no one is watching. This is an active leadership position. You'll work closely with the Director of Operations and ownership to contribute to the day-to-day operation of the restaurant while developing your leadership skills and taking on increasing responsibility. What You'll Do Lead and support the front-of-house team during daily service Set the standard for warm, professional, and efficient hospitality Manage service flow, reservations, guest concerns, and floor operations Train, coach, and support FOH employees Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management Maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and presentation Monitor service standards, music, lighting, and overall guest experience Work closely with the kitchen manager/ management team to keep service running smoothly Help monitor labor, sales, staffing, and operational performance Handle cash, credit card transactions, tips, deposits, and daily financial procedures accurately and responsibly Maintain accurate cash drawers and complete required financial and closing procedures Follow and reinforce company policies and procedures Handle opening and closing responsibilities Help maintain a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture Work with the Director of Operations on ongoing operational improvements Take on additional responsibilities as your skills and leadership experience develop Receive constructive feedback professionally and use it as an opportunity to improve and grow What We're Looking For 1+ year of restaurant leadership experience preferred Experience as a Team Lead, Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or similar role is a plus Strong understanding of restaurant operations Strong money-handling and financial accountability skills High level of integrity, honesty, and personal accountability A genuine interest in developing your leadership and management skills Desire to grow into greater responsibility over time Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to hold yourself and others accountable while maintaining a positive work environment Coachability and openness to constructive feedback Ability to listen, reflect, make adjustments, and turn feedback into positive action Hospitality-first mindset Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Experience with POS and restaurant scheduling systems preferred About Supino Supino Pizzeria is a Detroit restaurant known for handmade pizza, hand-rolled pasta, Italian-inspired cocktails, and a strong neighborhood-focused hospitality experience.
