Job Description
Tiffany's Wine & Spirits is a long-established, family-owned specialty wine, spirits, and gourmet food retailer serving the community for over 40 years. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our team, oversee day-to-day operations, and help drive the continued growth and success of the business. Responsibilities Lead all aspects of daily store operations, sales, and customer service. Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and develop staff. Build a professional, accountable, and customer-focused team culture. Oversee inventory management, purchasing, ordering, receiving, and vendor relationships. Manage payroll, invoicing, cash controls, and basic financial reporting. Monitor sales, expenses, inventory levels, and overall store performance. Maintain high standards for merchandising, organization, cleanliness, and presentation. Ensure compliance with MLCC regulations, food-safety requirements, and company policies. Work closely with ownership to improve efficiency, profitability, customer experience, and overall business performance. Take ownership of day-to-day problem-solving and ensure the store operates smoothly and professionally. Qualifications 3+ years of retail management experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience with inventory management, POS systems, scheduling, and basic business software. Financial awareness and ability to understand basic sales, expense, and performance reporting. Reliable, professional, accountable, and comfortable making decisions. Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays. Must be able to pass a background check. Experience or strong knowledge of wine, spirits, gourmet food, or specialty retail is highly desirable. Wine education, certification, or Sommelier credentials are a plus.
