Job Description

Come join our restaurant group, proudly serving the Royal Oak community for over 13 years. We're seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead the back-of-house team at Bijou , our exciting new concept in downtown Royal Oak.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations Work closely with and report to our Corporate Executive Chef and Owner-Operators Manage food ordering and inventory Monitor and control food and labor costs Schedule, train, and manage a small kitchen team of 2-3 employees Work alongside the team during prep and service as needed Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards Ensure all health and sanitation requirements are followed
Qualifications:
Minimum of six years of restaurant or culinary experience Minimum of two years of kitchen management experience Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to manage food costs, inventory, and scheduling Computer proficiency preferred ServSafe certification preferred Casual fine-dining or fine-dining experience is a plus
Schedule:
Wednesday-Thursday:
1:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Friday-Saturday:
1:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.
Sunday:
