Job description Overview Join our dynamic team as a Deli Manager and lead the charge in delivering exceptional food service experiences! In this vibrant role, you'll oversee daily deli operations, ensuring top-quality food preparation, outstanding customer service, and efficient team management. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where both customers and staff thrive. As a key leader in our food service operation, you'll drive success through effective management, innovative culinary practices, and a passion for hospitality excellence. Duties Supervise daily deli operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and freshness Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Lead and train staff on food safety procedures, proper food handling, and customer service techniques to maintain a safe and welcoming environment Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels, and ensure smooth workflow during busy hours in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting Implement food production standards aligned with health regulations and company policies to uphold quality assurance Conduct staff training sessions on culinary skills, customer interaction, and operational procedures to foster team development and performance excellence Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or restaurant management within the food industry or hospitality sector Demonstrated supervising experience with strong leadership skills in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety regulations to ensure compliance and cost efficiency Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately Experience working in casual dining, quick service restaurants, or catering environments is highly desirable Strong communication skills for staff training, interviewing potential team members, and managing shifts effectively Join us as a Deli Manager to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering delicious food with exceptional service.
