In this role, you will oversee team performance, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster a positive team atmosphere, and ensure the smooth running of shifts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop management skills while contributing to a vibrant hospitality setting. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and customer service delivery Lead and motivate team members to achieve service excellence and meet performance goals Manage shift schedules, assign tasks, and oversee staff training and development Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Oversee inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health regulations Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and participating in staff onboarding and training Requirements Proven experience in food service management or supervising in a quick service or casual dining environment Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development, and staff supervision Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and food safety protocols effectively Prior experience in hospitality management or restaurant management is highly desirable Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multitasking abilities Knowledge of food industry standards including catering, banquet operations, or bar service is a plus Join us as a Shift Manager to lead a dynamic team in delivering outstanding food experiences!
