Job Description

A year-round food service operation in Cormorant lakes area Minnesota is seeking an experienced or trainable Kitchen Manager to lead a dynamic culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with a business known for its fresh bakery, innovative brunch offerings, and expanding catering services. About the
Role:
You'll oversee all kitchen operations, from food preparation and ordering to staff management. The position offers flexibility in schedule and compensation structure, with management open to either salary or hourly arrangements based on your experience and needs.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, and ordering. Oversee a diverse menu featuring breakfast items, paninis, egg bakes, French toast, Swedish pancakes, sandwiches, and specialty coffee drinks. Maintain quality standards for the operation's signature micro bakery and fresh offerings. Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff. Support expansion efforts, including catering services and potential evening programming (wine-paired dinner events). Build and strengthen the business's online presence.
Requirements:
Kitchen management experience or willingness to obtain Minnesota Food Manager's License (training and exam provided if needed). Strong organizational and leadership skills. Availability Wednesday-Sunday, 8am-2pm year-round, with expanded hours (7 days/week) during peak season (Memorial Day-Labor Day). Flexibility to work weekends.
Compensation:
