Job Summary:

As a General Manager at Jersey Mike's Subs, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving business growth. This position offers the opportunity to lead a talented team and make a significant impact on our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead team members to maintain high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Oversee inventory management and control to optimize stock levels.
• Coordinate food preparation activities, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Implement effective shift management strategies to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for business improvement.
• Perform weekly administrative duties including weekly inventory, placing vendor orders, and completing other administrative tasks.

Skills:

• Previous experience in supervising roles, preferably in the food industry.
• Proficiency in cash handling, inventory management, and food production.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Proven experience in supervising, cash handling, inventory management, vendor ordering, and food preparation.
• Knowledge of food industry practices and standards.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
