We are looking for a motivated, high-energy General Manager who takes pride in developing people, delivering an outstanding guest experience, and operating a successful restaurant. Position Overview As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your restaurant, including team leadership, staffing, training, customer service, food quality, cleanliness, inventory, labor management, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside their team, sets high expectations, and creates a positive, accountable workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, develop, and motivate restaurant team members. Recruit, hire, train, and retain a strong team. Deliver an exceptional customer experience and uphold Jersey Mike's standards. Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening, closing, and shift execution. Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and food safety. Manage labor and staffing levels based on sales and business needs. Complete weekly inventory and place vendor orders. Monitor food cost, waste, cash handling, and other controllable expenses. Ensure accurate cash handling and financial procedures. Build effective employee schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels. Complete required administrative responsibilities accurately and on time. Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable food safety regulations. Identify opportunities to improve restaurant performance and develop action plans with District Management. Build relationships within the local community and help grow restaurant sales. Qualifications Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to coach, develop, and hold team members accountable. Experience with inventory, ordering, scheduling, labor management, and cash handling preferred. Knowledge of food safety and restaurant operating standards. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Positive attitude with a hands-on leadership style. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the restaurant, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be comfortable working on your feet and actively participating in restaurant operations. Previous restaurant leadership experience is strongly preferred. Why Join Our Team?
