Kitchen Assistant Manager (5.75 Hours/Day)

Job Summary:

Conduct majority of preparation responsibilities. Provide high level of customer service to students, families, and staff. Engage in a variety of duties in a school cafeteria. Light prep and serving. Dishwashing. Cashiering and clean up. This kitchen will be under construction for part of the school year and will transition to all foods prepared on site for daycare and pre-K students.

Qualifications:

Must be able to monitor and maintain appropriate inventories for planned menus. Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information required. Must possess excellent written and verbal language skills. Prior food service experience in quantity cooking and food preparation preferred, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment. Position involves lifting, twisting, and turning. A positive attitude is essential.
