Job Description

Job Summary Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative is seeking an community-minded Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead our taproom operations. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our daily guest experience, managing taproom & food truck staff, championing exceptional service standards for both casual visitors and dedicated cooperative members, and ensuring our space remains a welcoming, inclusive community hub. The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in food and beverage operations. You should excel at multitasking in a fast-paced environment and possess strong technical proficiency in POS systems, inventory control, and strict health and safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a member-owned, purpose-driven organization where community, collaboration, and great beer come together. Duties Oversee and manage daily operations of both taproom and food truck, ensuring smooth, efficient, and consistent service. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and atmosphere in the taproom, kitchen and food truck that align with Broken Clock Brewing Co-op brand standards. Manage opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting. Coordinate with the brewing team to ensure accurate draft lists, inventory levels, and product freshness. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and internal SOPs. Recruit, hire, train, and mentor taproom and food truck staff. Build a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance culture aligned with Broken Clock Brewing Co-op's 5 pillars. Create weekly schedules, manage shift coverage, calculate tips, payroll hours, and oversee labor efficiency and prime costs. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Ensure every guest receives warm, knowledgeable, and consistent service. Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and hospitality. Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak hours. Uphold Broken Clock's reputation as a welcoming, community‑driven, member owned brewery. Collaborate with the marketing/events team on one off and recurring events happening in the taproom. Support execution of special events, and private events. Coordinate with Marketing on promotions, social content needs, and event visibility. Oversee taproom and food truck inventory, including beer, food, merchandise, and supplies and place orders as needed. Work with the prep cook team to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure sufficient food is prepared to meet food truck demand. Design, test, and launch new food truck menu offerings while considering food costs, operational efficiency, and customer demand. Develop and introduce new non-alcoholic cocktails and other non-beer beverage offerings to enhance the guest experience and diversify the menu. Cultivate and manage vendor relationships to ensure consistent product availability, quality standards, and operational efficiency across taproom and food programs. Other duties as assigned. Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests, members, and community groups while promoting cooperative values. Proven leadership focused on mentorship, team development, sustainability, and local sourcing. Deep knowledge of craft beer, brewing processes, draft systems, and responsible alcohol service. Experience managing taproom operations, events, food programs, inventory, scheduling, and labor costs. Proficiency with POS systems, reporting, ordering, and operational troubleshooting. Commitment to food safety, health regulations, and maintaining required certifications. Skilled at creating welcoming guest experiences, managing high-volume events, and resolving customer concerns professionally. Ability to oversee food and beverage operations while maintaining quality, efficiency, and minimal waste.
Job Requirements:

21 years old, or above Multitask, and communicate effectively Follow health and safety guidelines. Lifting 165 lbs. with reasonable accommodation Prior experience with Point-of-Sale systems is a plus Ability to report to work on time Prior brewery or restaurant experience is a plus Knowledge of Craft beer industry is a plus
