Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize restaurant performance, and create a welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination Lead staff training and development to ensure high standards of customer service, food safety, and operational efficiency Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Oversee cash handling procedures, shift management, and financial transactions with accuracy and integrity Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols across all kitchen and dining areas Assist in hiring, interviewing, onboarding new team members, and conducting performance evaluations Support kitchen management by supervising food production processes, ensuring quality control, and managing food handling procedures Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary standards Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to maximize profitability Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Leadership qualities with experience in staff training, supervision, team management, and development Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and kitchen management best practices Ability to manage multiple responsibilities including shift management, catering operations, bar service (including barista or coffee experience), and event support such as banquets or hotel services Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a positive team environment Join us as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant to lead with energy, inspire your team's growth, and deliver memorable dining experiences!
