Job Description

General ManagerPosition Summary We are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our restaurant team. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, employee development, guest satisfaction, operational performance, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest service, building high-performing teams, and maintaining Captain D's operational standards. What You'll DoLeadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop restaurant team members. Foster a positive work environment that reflects Captain D's values and #JustBeD's culture. Train, motivate, and support employees to achieve operational excellence. Ensure all team members understand and follow company policies and procedures. Guest Experience & Restaurant Operations Deliver an outstanding guest experience through excellent hospitality. Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety. Ensure efficient daily restaurant operations. Create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities Manage labor, food costs, inventory, and cash handling procedures. Support restaurant profitability by meeting operational and financial goals. Complete required administrative reports accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with all company policies and operational standards. Qualifications Previous management experience in the restaurant or retail industry. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Valid Driver's License required. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Expected work schedule is approximately 50-55 hours per week . Physical Requirements This position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying items throughout the workday. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary and work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with exposure to hot and cold temperatures. Why Join Captain D's?
