Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food delivery in both casual dining and quick service settings Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a positive team atmosphere Manage food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to meet safety standards and quality expectations Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste Supervise shift management by coordinating staff schedules, overseeing food production, and ensuring timely service during busy hours Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, food production techniques, customer service protocols, and restaurant policies Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability Implement food safety management practices in compliance with health regulations and industry standards Support hiring processes through interviewing candidates and assessing their suitability for various roles within the restaurant Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within fast-paced or casual dining environments Proven managerial skills with experience supervising hospitality teams and managing restaurant operations Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis to optimize restaurant profitability Effective team management capabilities including staff training, development, interviewing, and shift supervision Familiarity with food safety standards, kitchen management, and culinary best practices Strong communication skills essential for managerial tasks like staff coordination and customer interactions Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and financial analysis Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in a hospitality setting Join us as an Assistant Manager
