Duties Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Supervise kitchen staff, including training new team members, conducting performance evaluations, and promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health codes. Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and handle customer service issues promptly to enhance guest experience. Conduct profit and loss analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in food costs, labor efficiency, and overall restaurant performance. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food environments. Excellent team management skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and conducting interviews. Familiarity with inventory control practices, food safety management, and compliance with health regulations. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to budgeting, cash handling, and cost analysis accurately. Demonstrated leadership in hospitality management settings with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience managing restaurant operations such as shift management, food production, catering events, banquets, or casual dining settings. Effective communication skills for managerial tasks like training staff, managing conflict resolution, and coordinating with other departments. Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary techniques, food handling procedures, and hospitality best practices.
