We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Task Force General Manager to provide hands-on leadership and operational support across our portfolio. Position Overview The Task Force General Manager serves as a strategic operational leader deployed to properties requiring transitional leadership, performance improvement, renovation oversight, new openings, or temporary management coverage. This role requires flexibility, strong business acumen, and a passion for developing teams. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable traveling extensively to support Embergrove properties nationwide. Key Responsibilities Provide interim General Manager leadership at assigned properties. Stabilize and improve hotel performance in revenue, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. Oversee full hotel operations including Rooms Division, F&B (where applicable), Sales, Engineering, and Housekeeping. Drive financial results through budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and expense control. Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and company policies. Recruit, train, coach, and mentor property leadership teams. Support hotel transitions, acquisitions, renovations, and new openings. Deliver consistent communication and reporting to corporate leadership. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager. Multi-brand experience preferred (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, etc.). Proven ability to improve operational and financial performance. Strong knowledge of PMS, revenue management systems, and hotel financial reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness and ability to travel up to 75-100% as business needs require. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
