Job Description

The Bunker Club Assistant Manager Position Summary The Bunker Club Assistant Manager is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience while leading and developing a high-performing team. This position oversees staffing, scheduling, hiring, training, and employee relations to ensure smooth daily operations and outstanding customer service. The Assistant Manager serves as a culture leader, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining service standards throughout the facility. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members.
  • Develop and implement training programs for all staff.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate employee performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Address employee concerns and promote a positive workplace culture. Scheduling & Staffing
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Monitor labor costs and staffing efficiency.
  • Manage time-off requests and shift coverage.
  • Maintain staffing levels to support business needs. Guest Experience
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Build relationships with members and guests to enhance loyalty and retention.
  • Monitor service quality and implement improvements when needed. Operations Support
  • Oversee daily operations in both the bar and golf simulator areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with ownership and management on operational initiatives, events, and promotions. Qualifications
  • Previous management experience in hospitality, food and beverage, entertainment, or customer service environments preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with employee scheduling, hiring, and training.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evening & weekends is a must.
THIS IS AN EVENING POSITION WITH SOME WEEKENDS
  • Bartending experience is helpful.
  • Proficiency with scheduling, point-of-sale systems, as well as ability to learn golf simulator technology preferred.
Starting pay is based on experience and will be examined and increased after review period.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 30.0 per week
