Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Responsibilities Lead and motivate all restaurant staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence in service and food quality Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, food preparation, and customer service delivery Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations through rigorous training and supervision of food handling practices Implement staff training programs covering food production, POS system operation (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), cash handling, and customer service skills Supervise kitchen management activities such as food production, culinary standards, and kitchen safety protocols Monitor financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing sales data to identify growth opportunities Conduct interviews for hiring new team members and participate in staff development initiatives to build a skilled workforce Maintain high standards of hospitality by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests across casual dining, quick service, or fine dining settings Requirements Proven management experience in a restaurant environment with supervisory responsibilities in food service or hospitality management Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety procedures Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential Strong background in inventory control, budgeting, and food management within a fast-paced or casual dining setting Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate diverse teams effectively Excellent communication skills with experience in interviewing and onboarding new staff members Familiarity with kitchen management practices including food production standards and catering or banquet operations is a plus Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in customer service delivery Knowledge of hospitality industry trends including bar operations or coffee shop environments (barista experience or hotel experience is advantageous) Join us as a General Manager - Restaurant where your leadership will inspire teams to deliver memorable dining experiences!
