Job description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager/Assistant to oversee daily operations in our establishment. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive work environment. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, budgeting, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Manage cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records. Train, mentor, and develop staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality food preparation and presentation. Implement effective marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and sales. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high morale. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures. Experience with budgeting and financial analysis in a restaurant setting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively. Familiarity with food management practices and health regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Previous experience as an assistant manager or cook is a plus. Passion for coffee or specialty beverages is desirable but not mandatory.
