Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. This role requires effective shift management, ensuring that all front-of-house activities run smoothly while maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts. Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours. Train and mentor new employees on food service protocols, customer interaction, and operational procedures. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and entrance. Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Implement health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the food service or hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Experience in shift management to effectively handle busy periods. Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is beneficial. Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings preferred. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.
