Role:

As Assistant Manager, you'll be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. We're looking for someone trustworthy and character-driven who will lead by example, train and develop team members, and help establish our culture from the ground up. You'll work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations while building strong connections with staff and customers. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an independent concept and make a real impact in the Belgrade community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure exceptional customer service
• Train, coach, and develop team members to perform at their best
• Assist in managing food costs, labor schedules, and inventory
• Maintain food quality standards, recipes, and production processes
• Handle cash management and daily reporting with complete integrity
• Support facility maintenance and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Help establish positive restaurant culture and foster community engagement
• Support the General Manager in driving sales and operational excellence

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Strong leadership, training, and verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, and character in professional settings
• Passion for developing others and building community connections
• Open availability required (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Familiarity with Aloha POS and IT integrations
• Professional References
• 3-5 Year Resume
• Background Check required and Serve Safe Manager Certification
• Must have phone and transportation
