Assistant Manager - Coffee & Grill BW Blacksmith Coffee Co. & Grill | Billings, MT BW Blacksmith Coffee Co. & Grill is growing, and we are looking for 2-3 Assistant Managers who are passionate about great customer service, positive team culture, and leading by example. We believe a great customer experience starts with a great team. We're looking for leaders who enjoy working with people, bring positive energy to their shifts, and know how to motivate a team while still maintaining high expectations. This is a hands-on management position. Our Assistant Managers work alongside their teams and help create an environment where employees feel supported, customers feel welcomed, and the store runs efficiently. What You'll Do Lead shifts and oversee day-to-day operations Create a welcoming and positive experience for every customer Help build and maintain strong team morale Coach, encourage, and develop team members Communicate expectations clearly and respectfully Help with scheduling and staffing needs Step in and support the team when needed Maintain our standards for quality, speed, cleanliness, and service Assist with inventory management and ordering Help grow sales while managing labor and operating costs Participate in weekly management meetings Work closely with Store and Area Management to continually improve operations Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who: Has previous leadership or management experience Genuinely enjoys working with customers and employees Leads by example rather than simply giving directions Can keep the team motivated and positive during busy or stressful shifts Is approachable while still being comfortable holding employees accountable Has strong communication and problem-solving skills Is dependable, organized, and self-motivated Thrives in a fast-paced coffee and restaurant environment Wants to learn, improve, and grow within the company Schedule & Requirements Candidates must have reliable transportation and be available to work 40+ hours per week , including availability throughout our business hours and weekends as needed. Compensation & Growth Pay is based on experience , and we are willing to train the right person who has the leadership qualities and attitude we're looking for.
