Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position is perfect for individuals with a strong background in food service management and a passion for the hospitality industry. Duties Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff management, inventory control, and food preparation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Train and develop staff in various areas such as customer service, and POS systems. Manage cash handling processes and maintain accurate financial records. Supervise kitchen operations to ensure efficient food production and quality control. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Participate in interviewing and hiring new staff members to build a strong team. Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or as an Assistant Manager in a quick service food environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen management, and food service operations. Experience with inventory control and budgeting practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff. Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is a plus. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Culinary experience or formal training in hospitality management is an advantage.
