Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, drives exceptional customer service, and manages all aspects of restaurant operations with enthusiasm and precision. As the face of the restaurant, you will inspire your team, ensure operational excellence, and create memorable experiences for every guest. Your leadership will foster a positive work environment where staff are motivated, trained, and empowered to deliver outstanding food and service. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive manager eager to make a significant impact in the food service industry. Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts. Lead, train, and develop staff members to uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Manage inventory control, food preparation processes, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed. Utilize POS systems such as Par Brinks for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling with accuracy. Supervise kitchen management tasks including food production, culinary standards, and kitchen safety protocols. Conduct staff interviews, manage shift schedules, and oversee team training & development initiatives. Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis while managing budgeting and cost controls to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food safety management. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to uphold excellent customer service standards. Implement staff training programs focused on hospitality management, team leadership, and food industry best practices. Skills Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling expertise. Demonstrated supervising experience within the food industry with a focus on team management and leadership skills. Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and food handling procedures. Exceptional communication skills for managerial communication, staff training, and customer service excellence. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to budgeting, pricing, and profit analysis accurately. Experience managing hospitality teams in diverse settings including fine dining or banquet environments is a plus. Skilled in managing shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Knowledge of catering operations or bar experience is advantageous but not required. $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
