Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during assigned shifts
• Train and mentor team members to deliver outstanding customer service
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
• Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving restaurant operations
• Assist with scheduling and managing labor costs

Skills:

• Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Proficient in using Toast or similar point-of-sale systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
