Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deli Manager to join our team. As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high-quality food standards. Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the deli department, including food preparation, service, and inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Train and supervise deli staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary
  • Create work schedules and assign tasks to deli team members
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a deli or restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members is preferred
