Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Shift Manager to lead our team through dynamic service periods, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. As a key leader on the floor, you will oversee daily restaurant activities, manage staff, uphold food safety standards, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment where teamwork and leadership are celebrated. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient food preparation, service, and cleanliness. Lead and motivate team members by providing clear direction, training, and support to uphold service standards. Oversee food handling processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and proper food management practices. Manage cash handling procedures accurately using POS systems such as SpotOn POS. Control inventory levels through regular stock checks and ordering to prevent shortages or waste. Ensure quick service delivery in a fast food or casual dining setting while maintaining high-quality food presentation. Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures to foster continuous improvement. Conduct table touches and ensure top-notch service. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems for transaction processing. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety standards across various hospitality settings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
