Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment, streamline service processes, and maintain operational excellence across all front-of-house functions. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for hospitality management and food service to make a positive impact in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure smooth daily operations Oversee customer service delivery, ensuring guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional attention at all times Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist procedures to optimize guest flow and satisfaction Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and resolve any service issues promptly Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation Maintain inventory control for front-of-house supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate and waste is minimized Enforce food safety standards and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members while fostering a positive team environment Support shift management by overseeing daily operations, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring adherence to company policies Contribute to budgeting efforts by monitoring labor costs and operational expenses while maximizing efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with supervising responsibilities in quick service or fast food environments Strong background in hospitality management, including team management, training & development, and customer service excellence Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, inventory control, and kitchen management is highly desirable Experience working in casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shift operations efficiently Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Previous experience in hotel or bar settings, including barista or coffee experience, is beneficial but not mandatory Join us as a Front of House Manager where your leadership will elevate the guest experience!
