Kitchen Manager Giorgio's Ristorante and Bar - 5.0 Manchester, NH Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Hospitality ServSafe Cooking Kitchen management Training & development Time management Full Job Description The Kitchen Manager is responsible for leading the daily back-of-house operations at Giorgio's while maintaining the high standards of food quality, consistency, cleanliness, organization, and hospitality that our guests expect. This position requires a hands-on leader who is actively working on the line, develops and holds the kitchen team accountable, controls food and labor costs, maintains proper inventory and sanitation standards, and works closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth restaurant operations. The Kitchen Manager is expected to lead by example and create a professional, respectful, organized, and productive kitchen environment. Qualifications Previous kitchen management, sous chef, lead line cook, or comparable restaurant leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of professional kitchen operations and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures. Strong leadership and employee-training skills. Ability to manage food cost, labor, inventory, ordering, and waste. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions during high-volume service. Ability to communicate professionally with employees, managers, vendors, and ownership. ServSafe Manager certification preferred or required as designated by Giorgio's. Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts required by restaurant operations.
