Job Description

Restaurant Operations Manager / Leadership Coach We are seeking a hands-on Restaurant Operations Manager with the heart of a Leadership Coach to guide, develop, and elevate our team. This is not a position for someone who simply runs shifts. We are looking for a leader who sets the standard, builds accountability, mentors future leaders, and creates a culture where professionalism, hospitality, and continuous improvement thrives. We are a high-volume, independently owned, upscale casual restaurant committed to exceptional hospitality, elevated food and beverage experiences, and operational excellence. Our culture is built on loyalty, growth, integrity, work ethic, and pride in execution. We believe exceptional restaurants are built by developing exceptional people. This position exists to protect and elevate the standards of the restaurant. Every shift, every employee, every guest interaction, and every detail of the building should leave better than you found it. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of the restaurant while actively coaching team members through real-time feedback, hands-on training, and leading by example. You will serve as the operational leader on the floor, ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience while developing a team that consistently performs at the highest level. Responsibilities Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless service execution. Work side-by-side with all employees in every department, helping execute exceptional service on all ends. Coach, mentor, and develop front-of-house team members through hands-on leadership, real-time feedback, and ongoing training. Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality by setting clear expectations and leading by example. Identify performance gaps and confidently address opportunities for growth through constructive coaching and development plans. Uphold and reinforce all service, hospitality, cleanliness, and operational standards. Maintain exceptional organization, cleanliness, and general upkeep throughout all guest-facing and operational areas of the restaurant. Proactively identify maintenance needs, coordinate repairs, and ensure the building, equipment, and facilities remain safe, functional, and presentation-ready. Oversee inventory management, ordering, product organization, and food cost controls while minimizing waste. Utilize restaurant POS systems and operational reports to monitor daily performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Support private events, catering, and special functions by coordinating operational execution as needed. Resolve guest concerns with professionalism while empowering team members to deliver outstanding hospitality. Foster open communication, recognize employee achievements, and create an environment where team members feel challenged, supported, and motivated to grow. Partner with ownership and executive leadership to identify, train, and develop future restaurant leaders. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management or hospitality leadership experience. Proven success leading high-volume, full-service restaurant operations. Passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing people—not simply managing shifts. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, inventory management, sanitation standards, and guest service excellence. Experience using restaurant POS systems and operational reporting tools. Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills. Ability to remain calm, decisive, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment. High standards for cleanliness, organization, attention to detail, and operational execution. Experience in upscale casual or full-service dining is strongly preferred. Experience in upscale craft cocktails, and elevated bar knowledge. Catering, banquet, or private event experience is a plus. Our ideal candidate naturally earns respect through consistency, professionalism, humility, and action. We believe leadership is about serving your team, creating accountability without ego, coaching people to become better than they thought they could be, and protecting the standards that make a restaurant exceptional. If you're passionate about building great teams, elevating hospitality, and leading by example every single day, we'd love to meet you.
