Job Summary Looking for a person who has restaurant management experience for the position of an Assistant General Manager. In addition to supporting the General Manager with some administrative duties, this position specifically handles the coordination of Special Events and oversees the front-of-house staff during service. Duties Manages and coordinates all activities for the
Special Events:
deal with customers, help design menus, plan timing and execution of event with both customers, staff, and kitchen. Manage and train front-of-house staff before, during, and after meal service. Training to include sales strategies and help with food and beverage knowledge. Perform small wares inventory on a monthly basis. Have a strong working knowledge of the Toast POS system, the RESY reservations system, and scheduling and event planning software. Coordinate employee orientation programs, interviewing candidates, recruiting new team members, and supporting onboarding processes. Oversee scheduling shifts. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming and gracious environment. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership development, and training and development programs. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management with strong supervisory skills and team leadership abilities. Strong knowledge of POS and other restaurant systems. Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and employee orientation processes. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
