Overview CDS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lead Supply Chain Associate to support daily supply chain and logistics operations. This role will be responsible for coordinating shipments, monitoring inventory movements, maintaining accurate system records, and supporting operational efficiency across warehouse and transportation activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, warehousing, inventory control, and supply chain operations, combined with strong computer skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position is based on-site and operates Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM , with occasional weekend on-call responsibilities as business needs require. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within company systems.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for logistics, warehouse, and transportation-related issues during assigned shift hours.
  • Track daily shipment activity and proactively resolve delivery, carrier, or inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain supply chain reports using Excel and internal systems.
  • Support inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
  • Review shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, and related records for accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, warehouse personnel, customer service teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Assist with scheduling, prioritization, meetings and coordination of daily logistics activities.
  • Train and provide guidance to team members on operational procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Support occasional weekend and after-hours operational escalations as needed. Required Experiences
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, shipping, warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related environment.
  • Working knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse processes.
  • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience utilizing inventory management systems, ERP platforms, WMS systems, or other operational software.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to lead by example and support team performance objectives. Preferred Experiences
  • Prior experience in a lead, coordinator, or supervisory supply chain role.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL), transportation carriers, or distribution operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory optimization, cycle counting, and logistics reporting.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Experience supporting overnight, early-morning, or extended operational schedules. Employment Requirements
  • Ability to work a regular schedule of 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday .
  • Availability for occasional weekend on-call support.
  • Ability to work on-site in an operational environment.

    Base Salary:
    $60,000 - $65,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available for on-call responsibilities and other operational support requirements.     $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
