Job Overview:
As a Shift Manager at Catch Air, you'll take the lead in ensuring smooth daily operations while creating a fun and memorable experience for kids and families! You'll supervise staff, manage workflow, and provide top-notch customer service, all while maintaining a clean, safe, and exciting environment. Your role also includes resolving guest concerns, supporting team members, and upholding company standards to keep the magic alive every day!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers an unparalleled guest experience in an ideal environment for celebrating children's birthday parties. Assist the General Manager in matters concerning safety and security in all areas: front door, play area, play castle, private event rooms, and restrooms. Assisting Guests with all requests and answering questions as needed. Greets guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while performing multiple job functions. Smiles and greets guests upon entering. Keeps all coordinators promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action. Provides timely and accurate service while managing party times and communicating information as needed to guests, coordinators, and managers. Competently diffuses difficult Guest situations while protecting the integrity and safety of our staff, building, and house policies. Assists in the cleanliness and organization of the rental equipment. Bring attention to the General Manager of problem areas with other managers and party coordinators. Ensures that all children and adults adhere to house policies as outlined and informs management of any issues Assists with the setup and breakdown of special events, as directed by management. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum team member morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong work ethic. High School or equivalent. Must be available to work on weekends and holidays. Children experience preferred, but not required. The employee needs to be able to communicate effectively with multiple guests while generating enthusiasm. Strong math and verbal skills are needed. Is dressed following dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times. Must be able to articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells to guests. Must demonstrate an ability to clearly verbalize guest's needs to other team members. Must be skilled at calmly responding to dissatisfied guests and calling issues to the manager's attention.
Job Type:
Part-time (20-25 hours a week)
Pay:
$19.00/hour + party booking incentives!
