Job Description

At Nothing Bundt Cakes, we believe every celebration deserves a little extra joy. We're looking for an Assistant Bakery Manager to help lead our team, support daily operations, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile and a cake they'll remember. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll work alongside the Bakery Manager to oversee operations, coach team members, maintain product quality, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. What You'll Do Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the bakery Lead and motivate a team of bakers, frosters, dishwashers, and guest service representatives Ensure cakes are baked, decorated, packaged, and presented according to brand standards Help manage labor schedules and staffing needs Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards Monitor inventory levels and place product orders as needed Handle guest concerns and ensure every guest receives exceptional service Open and close the bakery as needed Help drive bakery sales through local community involvement and guest engagement Support the Bakery Manager in achieving sales, labor, and profitability goals What We're Looking For 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, food service, hospitality, or restaurant operations Strong people leadership and coaching skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed Experience with scheduling, inventory, and team development preferred Food service or bakery experience is a plus but not required
