Bar Manager Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Train and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Create and update drink menus, ensuring a diverse selection of high-quality beverages
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make informed business decisions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably as a Bar Manager or similar position
- Strong knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory control procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with food production processes is preferred
- Culinary or hospitality management degree is an asset We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
