Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this pivotal role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the management team in maintaining a high-performing, efficient, and welcoming environment. Your passion for food, hospitality, and team leadership will drive the success of our restaurant. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while working in a fast-paced, lively setting that values innovation and teamwork. All roles are paid positions, including internships. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards Oversee food preparation and food handling processes to maintain safety and hygiene compliance Supervise staff training, development, and performance to foster a motivated and skilled team Support inventory control activities, including stock ordering and waste reduction strategies Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Manage shift schedules, monitor kitchen and front-of-house activities, and ensure timely service delivery Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally Ensure food safety regulations are followed diligently across all departments Assist with budgeting, cost control, and food management initiatives to optimize profitability Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols Hands-on experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Demonstrated ability in staff training, team management, and leadership within a quick service or casual dining environment Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to guest satisfaction Familiarity with inventory control, food handling procedures, and kitchen management practices Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality management is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to interview, train, and develop staff effectively Join us as an Assistant Manager and become an integral part of creating memorable dining experiences!
