Upscale NJ based catering company is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to oversee all aspects of our daily operations, drive growth, and ensure exceptional service for every event. Position Summary The General Manager will be responsible for leading the overall operation of our catering business, including event execution, staffing, logistics, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and operational excellence. This individual must be a proven leader with extensive experience managing high-volume catering operations and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the catering company. Lead and supervise department managers, office staff, chefs, warehouse personnel, drivers, and event teams. Oversee event planning and execution to ensure flawless service and client satisfaction. Coordinate logistics, transportation, staffing, equipment, and production schedules. Develop and maintain operational systems and procedures to improve efficiency. Monitor budgets, labor costs, food costs, inventory, and profitability. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and labor regulations. Build strong relationships with clients, venues, vendors, and key business partners. Work closely with ownership to develop growth strategies and improve operational performance. Resolve operational challenges quickly while maintaining exceptional service standards. Be available to oversee evening and weekend events as business demands require.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
