Reports directly to the QSR General Manager and Assistant General Manager and supervises the QSR staff of service leads, baristas and sales associates.
Maintains a steady leadership presence on the floor, interacting with guests, team members and vendors to ensure Eataly's operations are running smoothly and high hospitality standards are metCollaborates closely with the QSR GM and AGM on certain aspects of management including administrative and financial dutiesTrains, motivates, mentors and organizes team membersEstimates food and beverage needs, and requisitions or purchases food, beverage, supplies and equipment; receives and checks orders to ensure that they adhere to specificationsMonitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the departmentManages transactions and ensures accurate accountingRecords shift notes and assists with administrative duties such as scheduling when neededEnsures department complies with all quality, health, safety and sanitation standardsDocuments, investigates and resolves employee and guest incidentsPerforms other duties as required or assignedSalary for this role: -$65k-$75kQualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent; post-secondary degree preferred2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in food serviceMath skills and ability to handle money accuratelyStrong knowledge of steps of serviceExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of coffee and coffee productionKnowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferredKnowledge of leading a team of 15+ membersKnowledge of scheduling Job RequirementsAvailability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squattingAbility to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, and cash registerAdditional InformationMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with match or RRSPBonus programFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!
