The Lobby Club is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead all aspects of club operations, offering members outstanding hospitality, personalized service and memorable member experiences. Unlike traditional restaurant management, this position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no regular nights or weekends, allowing time for family, hobbies and life outside of work while still leading an exceptional operation. Located in the heart of Trenton, the private membership club has served New Jersey's business, legal and government communities for more than five years, offering members outstanding dining, networking and private event experiences in an elegant, welcoming environment. What You'll Do As General Manager, no two days are exactly alike, but every day is centered around creating an exceptional experience for members and guests.
- Build and maintain member relationships
- Manage and support front and back of house team.
- Guide day-to-day operations, including financial reporting, billing, inventory and accounts payables.
- Ensure outstanding service throughout the club's dining, event and member spaces.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee special events and private functions.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety and liquor licensing requirements. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and understands the importance of great service.
- Prior hospitality management and leadership experience, preferably at a private club or upscale restaurant.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven oversight of food and beverage operations as well as private and corporate events.

Monday-Thursday:
8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Friday:
8:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
- No regular evenings or weekends
- Occasional additional/alternative hours for scheduled member events, private functions and special club programming
- Salary of $75,000
- 80,000, based on experience
- Paid vacation and holidays
- Potential alternative additional hours and compensation Work Location This is a full-time, on-site leadership position at The Lobby Club in Trenton, New Jersey.
Pay:
$75,000.00- $80,000.
