Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Event Banquet Manager / Maître D' and lead the orchestration of exceptional dining experiences for a variety of events and banquets. In this lively role, you will oversee all aspects of banquet service, ensuring seamless coordination between kitchen staff, servers, and event planners. Your energetic leadership will create memorable moments for guests, uphold the highest standards of hospitality, and foster a positive team environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise banquet service operations to deliver outstanding guest experiences from setup to cleanup Lead and motivate banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel, providing training and development to enhance performance Collaborate with event planners and clients to understand specific requirements and customize service accordingly Oversee food preparation, presentation, and timely delivery in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations Manage inventory control for banquet supplies, food items, beverages, and equipment using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures during events and shift management Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and health regulations across all banquet activities Experience Proven management experience in food service or hospitality management, preferably within a quick service & fast food restaurant or fine dining environment Extensive banquet experience with a strong background in event coordination and customer service excellence Familiarity with food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management practices Skilled in supervising staff training, interviewing candidates, and developing team members for success Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and inventory tracking Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize food & beverage operations Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and ensure smooth shift transitions Join us to lead vibrant events that leave lasting impressions! $25.03 - $30.14 per hour
