Date Posted 7/23/2026 Job Title Dining Room Manager Job Description Job Summary Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining room. Ensures timeliness of food service. Supervise and train dining room staff. Manage within budgetary restraints. Develop and implement programs to increase revenues through repeat business and higher check averages. Responsibilities Serve as liaison between members and Club Food and Beverage Departments. Monitor all restaurant operations according to scheduled shift and ensure compliance to standard for products and services and implement operations. Ensure dining room of responsibility is properly set up for all activities scheduled for room prior to service time to meet the standard and the quality for Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club. Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks. Working with Food and Beverage Managers coordinate shift assignments in dining venues. Make contact with all members in the dining room, touch tables, during shift to ensure staff is delivering a quality product. Supervise servers, bussers and bartenders assigned to room of responsibility. Greet all members pleasantly and assist members to dining area and introduce all menus. Receive and resolve complaints concerning dining room service. Monitor inventory for dining room products and ensure maintains proper settlement procedures. Works with, and deliver innovative ideas to, Assistant Food and Beverage Manager/Director in development of dining room operations guidelines. Implement a Club training with staff on an ongoing basis through pre-shift meetings and training on the fly. Ensure quality product presentation for all ordered items. Maintain full awareness of all menu items. Check all end of shift paperwork of assigned staff for correctness within Club standards. Follow good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products. Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning. Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment and maintaining effective inter-departmental working relationships. Responsible for the cleanliness, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils. Set an example to others for personal hygiene and cleanliness on and off duty. Daily feedback collection and reporting of issues as they arise. Assess quality control and adhere to Club standards. Carry out any other duties as required by management. Candidate Qualifications License and Special Requirements 3 (three) years as Food Server and/or Bartender in dining establishment. 1 (one) year in Food and Beverage management in dining establishment. Experience in fast paced environment. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Knowledge of culinary techniques, spirits, and wines. New Mexico ServSafe Food Manager Certification. New Mexico Alcohol Servers License.
