Job Description

This position oversees front-of-house dining operations across the District's multi-location Food & Beverage Division, supervising staff and collaborating with culinary, banquet, and other Food & Beverage teams to ensure efficient operations, exceptional guest experiences, and adherence to quality, service, and safety standards. Responsibilities also include administrative and operational support for payroll, timekeeping, inventory, purchasing, financial controls and reporting. Requires excellent organizational, communication, customer service, and cash-handling skills; proficiency with Microsoft applications, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and financial accounting software, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
Requires:
AA in business management from a 2 year college or a 2 year degree from an accredited culinary school, and 4 years of general business or food & beverage management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Driver's License; Washoe County Sheriff's Work Permit with employer designation of Liquor and occupation designation of Food & Beverage; Washoe County Food Safety Manager Certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months from date of employment; Alcohol Awareness card, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment; ability to work a varying schedule which includes weekend and holidays.
