Applicants must : Have current or recent (within the last two years) Dairy Queen management experience. Provide at least two professional employer references. Certified Dairy Queen Manager certification is highly preferred but not required. Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, leadership ability, and overall qualifications. Position Overview As the General Manager , you are responsible for the overall success of the restaurant. This includes leading the management team and crew, driving sales and profitability, controlling labor and food costs, maintaining Dairy Queen brand standards, ensuring outstanding customer service, and creating a positive, accountable workplace culture. You will work directly with ownership to achieve operational goals while ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop the entire restaurant team. Build a positive, professional, and accountable work environment. Lead by example through exceptional customer service and strong work ethic. Staffing & Training Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train employees. Coach and develop future Shift Leaders and Assistant Managers. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback. Hold team members accountable to company expectations and policies. Restaurant Operations Oversee all daily restaurant operations. Ensure Dairy Queen operating procedures and brand standards are consistently followed. Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and food quality throughout the restaurant. Financial Performance Manage labor costs and scheduling. Control food costs and minimize waste. Monitor sales, profitability, and key performance indicators. Help develop strategies to increase sales and improve guest satisfaction. Inventory & Ordering Complete inventory counts accurately. Place food and supply orders. Receive deliveries and maintain proper inventory levels. Guest Experience Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service. Foster a culture focused on hospitality and creating positive memories. Food Safety & Compliance Maintain compliance with all Dairy Queen operating procedures. Ensure ServSafe, food safety, sanitation, and health department standards are met. Maintain employee safety and enforce company policies consistently. Equipment & Maintenance Oversee proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of restaurant equipment. Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance as needed. Community Involvement Assist with local marketing efforts and community outreach. Help strengthen Dairy Queen's presence within the Pahrump community. Required Qualifications Must have worked in a Dairy Queen management position within the past two (2) years. Minimum of two professional employer references. Dairy Queen management certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience managing labor, food cost, scheduling, inventory, and restaurant operations. Ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Willingness to obtain or maintain ServSafe certification. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule & Benefits Full-time position. Flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Salary of $40,000
