Dad works long hours in the city and travels frequently, which means the household runs primarily on mom's energy and organization. We have systems in place that work well for us, and we take pride in a home that feels calm, clean, and intentional even in the middle of the everyday beautiful chaos that comes with young kids. Mom stays closely involved in the day-to-day, and we're looking for someone to work alongside her. What we truly need is a reliable, steady right-hand person who can show up Monday through Thursday and help keep everything humming in the afternoons. Our key areas of support are tidying and organization, childcare, laundry, and light meal prep. We're not looking to hand things off entirely — we're looking for someone who genuinely wants to be part of the rhythm of a home, understands what matters to us, and takes initiative to fill in the gaps without needing to be directed on every small thing. If you thrive in an environment that is organized but lively, value safety and attentiveness with children, and take pride in doing things the right way rather than just getting them done, this could be a great fit. Who You Are / What We're Looking For You're the right person for this role if you walk into a home and immediately see what needs attention — you don't wait to be told, you take stock and get to work. You approach a new home the way a project manager approaches a new assignment: you learn the systems, follow them consistently, and solve problems independently, knowing the difference between a question worth asking and one you can simply handle yourself. You communicate clearly and proactively, flagging anything the family should know about. You are warm and naturally good with children, with the professionalism and reliability that sets you apart. Three qualities matter most in this role, and we need someone who brings all three: attentive, proactive, and reliable — attentive and safety-first with the kids, proactive about staying ahead of things before they pile up, and reliable in keeping the home running smoothly day to day. Safety is never an afterthought for you — when you're present in a home with young children, attentiveness is non-negotiable. Reliability is core to who you are: you show up when you say you will, and your word means something. Above all, you are a true right-hand person — someone who fills in the gaps, shares in the mental load, and takes things off mom's plate so she can be fully present for her family. If you've supported a busy household before and loved it, this role was made for you.
