Full-Time We are seeking an experienced and polished Front of House Manager to join an upscale, fine-dining restaurant in New York City. The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional who understands the importance of exceptional service, attention to detail, and creating memorable guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, leading the service team, and ensuring that every aspect of the guest experience reflects the highest standards of hospitality. Responsibilities Oversee daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth execution of every service. Lead, coach, and develop servers, hosts, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members. Maintain exceptional standards for guest service, hospitality, presentation, and professionalism. Be highly visible on the floor and actively support the team during busy services. Manage reservations, seating, table flow, VIP guests, and special requests. Handle guest concerns and service recovery with professionalism and discretion. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily expectations, menu updates, and service standards. Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of FOH employees. Work closely with the culinary and management teams to ensure strong communication and seamless service. Monitor service standards, labor, and operating procedures to support overall restaurant performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company standards. Help create a positive, professional, and team-oriented restaurant culture. Support the General Manager and senior leadership team with day-to-day operations and special events. Qualifications 3+ years of front-of-house management experience in fine dining, upscale dining, luxury hospitality, or a similarly high-end environment . Strong knowledge of fine-dining service standards and restaurant operations. Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse hospitality team. Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor. Strong understanding of reservations, service flow, guest relations, and floor management. Ability to remain calm and composed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality. Wine and beverage knowledge is a plus.
