Job Description

Head Chef and Kitchen manager - Full Time Restaurant with 300+ reviews at 4.9 stars in search of talented head chef and kitchen manager. This is an IDEAL position for a Sous Chef to elevate her/his skills and take charge of a great kitchen environment. Our business is growing and we need an experienced line cook to help continue our growth. We're looking for a full-time person for five dinner shifts, starting at 1PM and ending around 9-10PM depending on the day of the week. This position requires you to learn and master each station, assist with prep for all stations, and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen weekly. You will be expected to build recipes, perform deep cleaning tasks weekly, assist in putting orders away, maintain organization and cook on the line nightly. We are eager to get the right person started as soon as possible to get them trained with the team!! Bring your passion for food to life! Duties
  • Design expertly crafted dishes with strong flavor profiles for haute cuisine guest experiences
  • Order food weekly through our list of local vendors
  • Manage food cost and BOH labor to target levels
  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Handle food with care, using proper knife skills and food handling techniques to ensure quality and safety
  • Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food with precision
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery
  • Keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and clean throughout each shift to promote a safe working environment Experience
  • Previous sous chef or executive chef experience is a must
  • Familiarity with dietary restrictions/allergies experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling in fine dining or catering environments
  • Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods
  • Background in the food industry or culinary experience that showcases versatility in meal preparation and food service operations
