Wine Bar Manager -- Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Wine Bar Manager to oversee daily operations of our upscale wine bar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong leadership skills, proficiency with POS systems, and the ability to manage shifts effectively. The Wine Bar Manager will also play a key role in team training to ensure staff are knowledgeable about our wine offerings and service standards. -- Responsibilities Lead and supervise the daily operations of the wine bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Manage staff scheduling and shift management to optimize coverage and customer experience. Conduct team training sessions to enhance staff knowledge of wines, service techniques, and POS system usage. Oversee the implementation of POS systems for accurate order processing and sales tracking. Maintain high standards of customer service, ambiance, and cleanliness within the wine bar. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Enforce safety protocols and compliance with health regulations. Assist in marketing efforts to promote the wine bar and attract new customers. -- Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably within a wine bar or similar setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively. Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for transaction accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple shifts efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of wines and beverage service standards is preferred. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
