Job Description

Since opening our first location in Oceanside, NY in 1986, Long Island Bagel Café (LIBC) has been committed to serving authentic, high-quality bagels through hard work, tradition, and dedication. Over the years, we've grown into a leading bagel brand across New York with locations in Baldwin, Bellmore, Glen Cove, Long Beach, Nesconset, Mineola, and Scarsdale—filling the void for great bagels, one town at a time. LIBC is currently seeking a
DELI/BAGEL STORE EXPERIENCED
manager. As the Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, driving sales growth while ensuring excellent customer service, consistent product quality, and a positive team environment. We're looking for a hands-on leader who takes ownership of the store and leads with energy, discipline, and pride. This role offers significant career growth and the potential to evolve into a managing partner opportunity. Key Responsibilities Lead daily store operations with full accountability for performance Hire, train, schedule, and supervise team members Manage purchasing, inventory, and food-related functions Ensure all products meet LIBC quality standards Oversee bookkeeping, sales reporting, and financial performance Foster strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards Drive a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and high morale Qualifications Proven management experience in a Bagel Café, Delicatessen, or similar food-service environment A MUST. Strong customer service and leadership skills Self-disciplined, outgoing, and career-minded with an "ownership" mentality Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Knowledge of food safety and operations best practices Ability to work 55-65 hours per week Compensation & Benefits $100,000 - $120,000 (includes a generous base salary and profit sharing) Comprehensive benefits package Long-term growth potential, including managing partner pathway

$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
